Yes! Worth A Shot can travel anywhere in BC. We cover travel expenses for Prince George and surrounding area for up to 50 kms. Anything further than that has a charge of $1/km. If your event is very far away, please contact us for a quote

Worth A Shot loves to support local. We work with the breweries, wineries, and distributors in our community to get the best liquor around. If you can think of it, we can get it and/or make it!

The trailer is 6ft x 10ft and can fit in some pretty tight spaces. We require a 110V outlet to hook up to but if you don’t have the proper hook ups we can also provide our own generator for the event

Special Event Permits (SEP) are temporary, government mandated liquor licenses that allow Worth A Shot to serve your event. They are easy to apply for and are approved quickly. Our team can help you get your application filled out and processed without any hassle. 

*** If you are having your event on private property and the event is by invite only you do not need to apply for a special event permit.***

Due to British Columbia’s current liquor laws mobile bars are unable to sell alcohol directly. If you are having an event and would like us to pick up your alcohol we can purchase it on your behalf but cannot buy the alcohol and distribute it ourselves.

We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking and the balance fully paid two weeks before the event. If your event is less than 30 days away at the time of booking we require payment in full.

Worth A Shot has up to $5 million in liability insurance and ensures all bartending staff are properly trained and hold valid Serve it Right certificates. We also endorse certain locations to be included under our insurance. If you would like to host your event at one of these locations to waive the hosting liability insurance, please contact one of our representatives for our full list of endorsees. 

Our trailer stays outside but we don’t have to. Our bartenders can go wherever the party is with our indoor portable bartending unit. If you’re looking to host an indoor event contact us for a quote!
